MV ''Taishan'' is a Wallenius Wilhelmsen ro-ro vessel built in 1986. The vessel is owned by (Actinor Shipholdings Norway ) and given on a long term Bareboat charter to Wilhelmsen Lines for (EUKOR ) service As has been the trend in Wilhelmsen lines, there were also earlier vessels named ''Taishan'', however these were not roro vessels. IMO number = 8513560 Built = 1986 Length = 195.05 metres, Beam= 32.26 metres (Panamax), Draft = 8.9 metres Call sign= LAZP4, Registry = Oslo - Norway Type = PCTC (Pure car and truck carrier) Capacity = 5930 cars, Stern ramp capacity = 100 MT The vessel has 13 car decks, of which 4 are hoistable (most are hoisted using a deck lifter, some are hoisted using wires). The vessel also has 2 center ramps on the port and starboard side, but these are rarely used.
